Northern Ireland Heat - Wednesday 2 November 2011 - NIMDTA, Belfast
The Northern Ireland Regional Heat of the Lister Surgical Skills Competition, in association with Johnson & Johnson Medical Companies took place on Wednesday 2 November at the NIMDTA, Beechill House, Belfast. 20 medical students (3rd, 4th or 5th year) from Queen's University Belfast competed to win a travel and accommodation package to RCSEd in February to have the chance to win a week at the Johnson & Johnson Medical Companies skills centre in Hamburg.
The College's Regional Surgical Adviser Mr Stuart McIntosh led this event with the support of local colleagues. Congratulations to winner, Anna Bradley and runner-up, Claire Potter. Anna Bradley will now go through to the Grand Final of the Lister Surgical Skills Competition on 11 February 2012.
